Can anyone provide any insight if paypal is working on solving the tax and Canada issue? Ie the inability to collect any tax? If so, any creative guesses on timelines? In a related question, is there a way to determine in which country a paypal user is from - prior to checking out? Mike ;)

1. Probably first half of 2003.
2. Not from PayPal. You'd need to ask them.
