I'm definitely not a paypal expert so I've come here for direction.
I run a very busy church directory that allows people to submit updates to the directory. Each day, I go through the task of approving / rejecting updates that have been submitted.
Due to the volume of requests and the size of the database (over 300,000 churches) I receive a * amount of spam and update requests that may look legitimate but are actually bogus updates.
My plan is to ask for a small fee for each update / addition (maybe $2.00 or $2.00 per month). I believe that this will significantly reduce the spam and the number of overall requests in total. I hate to charge these folks but this has become a full-time job for me with not enough pay.
My thinking is : If they will pay $2.00 for the update, they most likely have good intentions. This will free up time for me and contribute to the profitability of the site.
So .. I need to integrate paypal into the form where directory updates are requested. Once the payment has been made, I'd like to issue a call to a php program where it will flag the request as paid / approved.
Is this an easy job ? Does anyone have any recomendations ? Please let me know how much you would charge for a complete solution.
Thanks
