I've been using the PayPal shopping cart for a couple years with cost-based S&H fees. As customers added items to the PayPal shopping cart, a subtotal line on the shopping cart would display the current S&H fee for the order. As additional items were added, the S&H fee would update, based on my Shipping Calculations. This worked properly, as of this morning. This afternoon, I updated my S&H fees with the "enhanced" Shipping Calculations screen. I have only one specified Shipping Method within the Shipping Calculations. Now, as customers add items to the PayPal shopping cart, the subtotal line displays "Shipping & Handling: $0.00 USD", regardless of how many items are in the cart. The customer does not see S&H fees until he begins the check-out process, where he is given an option of entering a zip code to "estimate shipping and handling fees". Since I only have one Shipping Method, the zip code is completely immaterial. My biggest concern is that the customer sees "Shipping & Handling: $0.00 USD" until he begins to check out. I think this is terribly misleading. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong, or if this is a bug in the new, "enhanced" Shipping Calculations"? Thanks for your help.
